“Continuing the Mission: Veteran Leadership in Civic Engagement"

On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. ET to 12:00 p.m. ET, in room 360 of the Cannon House Office Building, the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Democrats will hold a roundtable discussion titled, “Continuing the Mission: Veteran Leadership in Civic Engagement.” This roundtable will focus on efforts to engage veterans in nonpartisan civic activities to increase education, awareness, and stability around governmental and election-related activities. Potential issues for Members and participants to explore include election protection and education, nonpartisan poll workers, confidence in the electoral process, and the role of veterans in strengthening faith in elections.
